I graduated from State University of New York at Geneseo with a degree in Elementary Education, Grades K-6 and I am certified to teach academically gifted students K-12. This year will begin my fifth year at ZES and my 20th year in education. I have spent all of my teaching career in public education and magnet schools. I am passionate about teaching! I have high expectations for all of my students and believe that all students can learn. I strive to create a classroom where students can grow and feel safe. I am looking forward to another great school year!!
In my free time, I like to scrapbook, read, and play soccer. I am a den leader in the cub scout program in Knightdale. I am married and have 3 sons. I also have a dog named Pepper.
